No More Drama!

No More Drama

What is drama?

It is the unnecessary stress and strain on your spirit, your mind, your emotions, your relationships and everything that concerns you.  And yes, even your financial situation.

People instinctively understand the need to defend their homes and families from dangerous predators and nefarious individuals looking to steal, damage or cause harm. Some even understand the need to protect their brains from unnecessary chemicals and destructive forces.  But it is amazing how many people don’t take the time to understand the need to protect their spirits or thought processes.

Made in the image and likeness of God, we are triune beings.  We have a spirit man, a mind, and a body. We are constructed like nested dolls. Our spirit man lives on the inside of our mind, which lives on the inside of our physical bodies.

Unnecessary drama is very damaging to every aspect of your being, including your spirit.   Stress, strife, division, unrest, agitation, worry and even fear are all symptoms of ‘Drama.’   Arguments, rage, anxiety and even over-working one’s self-are brought on by the spirits of fear and competition.  It causes unnecessary stress. There is even medical proof to show that physical stress from overworking is harmful to our physical hearts. In Japan, there is a phenomenon called “karoshi” where young men and increasingly young women are dying from overwork.  The culture of competition combined with the issues and drama of life is causing these people to perish before their time.

The drama that we speak of is far more insidious.  We speak of the drama that some unwittingly allow in their lives is just as deadly as the phenomenon of “karoshi.”  Just to name a few, consider the following examples: the fallout from bad decisions and mistakes, the fallout from bad relationships or the fallout from being affected by other people’s foolishness and evil. Drama is like the dust cloud that has been stirred up by the wind whipping about a sandy, dusty lot.  When the wind whips the sand and debris hard enough, it is painful and even deadly.  After such an event, it takes time to for everything to settle back down to normal.  It takes time to clean up the aftermath. The unfortunate thing is that some people live lives that are marinated in perpetual drama.  The debris is always swirling about. The Bible tells us that we are not to live our lives that way.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. “ -Joh 14:27 KJV

The problem is that when it is a lifestyle, it is difficult to imagine living any other way.  When people grow up in families and situations where the dust clouds of drama continually swirl about them, it can be daunting to consider moving out and away from those situations that they are familiar with even though they cause destructive thought process and serious life affecting collateral damage.

Jesus tells us:

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” -Joh 16:33 KJV

The solution is actually quite simple.   Call upon the Name of Jesus! Yes, LITERALLY say “Jesus, Help Me!”.  Physically, open your mouth and say those words. He will hear you and begin to move on your behalf.  Sometimes, the solution and answer may be instantaneously, or perhaps it may take some time for things to settle down. But trust Him and have Faith in His Name and know that He is working it out.  And in the meanwhile, keep your spirit and mind focused on Him.  He will not forsake you.  And when we learn to keep our hearts and mind focused on Jesus, we have this precious promise:

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. “ -Isa 26:3 KJV

In this world, there will always be some drama. Just don’t let it be your lifestyle. Don’t let the darkness permeate your spirit.  If you are in circumstances that continually surround you with perpetual drama, ask the Lord for wisdom, knowledge, and discernment.  He will give it to you.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? “ -Mat 7:7-9 KJV

When we ask Him for wisdom, knowledge, and discernment, He will give us the answer.

When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: “ -Pro 2:10-11 KJV

As wisdom, knowledge, and discernment that you asked for begins to enter into your spirit man, you will begin to sense a new level of peace. This new level of peace will be as refreshing as a cold drink fo water on a hot summer’s day.  Learn to hold onto that new sense of peace.  Proactively look for ways to guard your peace. Aggressively guard and treasure your new peace like you would guard and treasure your life, home or family.

Remember, God; The Father gave us His Only Begotten Son, Jesus for us.  He has overcome the world.  As long as our focus remains on Him, there will be peace in our hearts.  And the drama, like the dust storm, will settle down.   We say No More Drama!

We speak peace to you and your life.  We declare peace is your portion.  We speak Grace and Peace to all that concerns you.

An Apostolic and Prophetic View of God’s Process for Personal Growth and Ministry

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

According to the Scripture, Romans 8:28 says- “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”  The questions is, how do all these things work out to our benefit? God is a “God that declares “The End” from “The Beginning”.  However, we must understand that He is also a God of process. There is a process that takes from the beginning unto the end.
