Traveling today is an interesting scenario. There is a lot of things to do to prepare to travel somewhere. If you are traveling by air nowadays, you must contend with the airlines and all of their respective policies and the drama of travel. If you are traveling to or from the United States, then you also have the joy of dealing with a little-known Administration called the TSA.
As you deal with the TSA, (the Transportation Security Administration), to enter the airport, it can be a very interesting experience, to say the least. Sometimes, you have to wait in long lines while your identity, boarding pass, and luggage are examined.
The purpose of the Travel Security Administration is to make sure that everyone is safe while they travel from point A to point B. They want to make sure that you have the proper credentials and the right to travel legally. They also want to make sure that you don’t carry on board anything of a nefarious and dangerous nature. If you are fortunate enough, they have a system called TSA Pre-check where you can go through a detailed background check and prescreening process to qualify for an accelerated on-boarding process.
It is amazing how The Lord can take something as mundane as going through the TSA screening and onboarding process to teach us spiritual concepts. The Lord wants us to know that He is the Originator of the original prescreening and boarding process concept.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we become qualified to ascend to new levels and higher heights in the Spirit. Our qualifications to fly are not based on our own spotless background, but rather, upon the Blood of Jesus. Jesus allowed His Blood to be shed for us as the Sacrificial Spotless Lamb. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we officially become ‘Prescreened’ and ‘Authorized’ to travel higher and into the true things of God. We become entitled to receive all of His Benefits.
This ‘prescreening’ authorizes us to have access to the Godly things that facilitate and bless our Spiritual Travels. God’s prescreening also causes our spiritual path to become accelerated by His Favor. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we don’t have to wait or worry about being stuck in the same old grind or capped by the same limitations. With Jesus, we are no longer stuck or stagnated in sin, destruction, and death. God has a plan and a better way for us. His way is far better than anything that we can think of.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” – Jer 29:11 KJV
However, even though we have been preauthorized, we still have to have our luggage scanned to make sure that we don’t bring on board anything that will blow up in our face or hurt someone else. As we prepare to go higher in the things of God, the Holy Spirit teaches us through God’s Word and scans our luggage. The Word of God scans our hearts and shows us if we are carrying any baggage that could potentially blow up to hurt us and others.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. “ – Heb 4:12 KJV
Everybody has baggage or something from their past of which they are not proud. However, the Holy Spirit does not shine the light on these issues to show us what how ‘bad’ we are, but rather, so that we can safely defuse any potential bombs. Examples of potential bombs can be flawed personality traits, character issues, weaknesses, etc. The Holy Spirit does not want these issues to blow up and hurt us, our children or anyone else. When our baggage goes through the Holy Ghost scanner, and something is identified, we should not feel condemned but rather honored that the Lord loves us enough to keep us from hurting ourselves and others.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. “ -Rom 8:1 KJV
Pain, hurts, abuse, mistrust, divorce and generational curses are just some of the examples of what The Lord wants us to remove from our luggage as we prepare to fly higher in Him. He knows that they are potentially dangerous to us, our children and others. While these issues may have been acceptable at the previous level, He wants us to remove them from our lives so that these things don’t hinder or kill us as we fly higher in Him. Hurting people tend to hurt other people. If these are issues in your life, let Jesus remove these items from your baggage so that He can cause you to fly higher by the Spirit.
Consider the story of the rich young ruler in Mark 10:17 – 25. A young man approached Jesus wanting to know what could he do to become saved. Jesus addressed the young man’s issue point blank and said the following:
“Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.” -Mar 10:21 KJV
The issue was not the fact that the young man had money, but rather that the money was a type of god to the young man. He valued the money more than his relationship with Jesus. In that example, the money was the rich young man’s baggage. Jesus was trying to help him remove an item from his luggage that would ultimately blow up in his face and lead to his destruction. Again, the issue was not the fact that he had money, but rather, it was his improper focus upon his money. His improper focus was the dangerous item in his baggage.
On another note, it is interesting to consider that anybody can travel via airplanes if they have the following…
- If They Have The Money To Do So
- If They Have Proper Identification
- If They Have The Time
Anybody and everybody is invited to fly with the Spirit of God. All they have to do is purchase their ticket. The good news concerning our spiritual tickets is that your ticket has been already paid! When Jesus died for us, He paid the price in full. Concerning our spiritual identity, Jesus is our Big Brother. He is The KING of kings and The LORD of lords. And because we can call God, ABBA Father, we are royalty. (Rom 8:15, 1 Pet 2:9) Our identity is in Him, and as a result, we are recognized by God, The Father. (John 14:6) Concerning the time, we understand that Salvation is Eternal. We have ALL of the time in the World and then some. (John 3:15)
When we board a physical airplane, we have to show our boarding pass to the secular TSA. At that time, they will decide if we are authorized to board. To board your spiritual flight, you have to be screened by the spiritual TSA. To get on board, you must present your boarding pass. Our spiritual boarding pass is The Name of Jesus. (John 15:16)
At this point, I would like to introduce you to the original TSA. The real and original TSA stands for True Spiritual Authority. The True Spiritual Authority is God, The Father. To whom all Authority, Dominion, and Power belong.
As we show our spiritual boarding pass (The Name of Jesus) to the real TSA (the True Spiritual Authority, God, The Father), we are authorized and prescreened to board the spiritual flights that God has ordained for us. At that point, we are entitled to receive all of the benefits, blessings, and favor that we are entitled to because of His Son, Jesus. And with God, there is never a waiting line! He hears us instantly whenever we pray in The Name of Jesus.
Many people that claim there are many different pathways to God, claim that they can take any flight and go to wherever they want in the spirit. But unfortunately, for those with false credentials, they will not be given access to fly anywhere. They cannot access God’s spiritual entitlements because they are not properly authorized. There is only one acceptable form of ID, which is The Name of Jesus.
Once you have the proper ID, take the next step. Have your baggage scanned. Allow the Word of God and God’s Holy Spirit to scan you and your life for any potential bombs that could explode in your face in the future. Allow the Holy Spirit to order your footsteps and lead you to the destination where you will be blessed beyond measure. Don’t go through unnecessary difficulties in life and miss the spiritual flight to your destiny. Allow God to authorize you and give you His Precheck Screening. Make sure that you have your spiritual boarding pass and proper ID so that your spiritual onboarding will smooth and painless.
Others have used their free will to choose other paths, but as for me and my house, we shall serve The Lord. We all have our boarding passes. Oh, and by the way…
I will take Precheck too, please!
